Privacy
What we do with your information.
The short version: we use what you tell us to answer you about your firearms, and for nothing else. We don’t sell it, rent it, share it, or pass it to other dealers, marketers or lead brokers.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site:
- Your name, so we know who we’re speaking to.
- A phone number or email address, so we can reply.
- How you want to be contacted — call, text or email. You choose; we use the one you picked.
- What you have, in your own words, and the town it’s in.
- Chat messages, if you use the chat window, along with the page you started from.
We don’t ask for and don’t want your address, date of birth, social security number, financial details or any identification document. Nothing about a firearm transaction requires those before we’ve met.
What we do with it
- We contact you about the firearms you asked us about.
- We keep a record so that if you call back in three months we know who you are.
- That’s all.
Text messages
If you give us a phone number and ask to be contacted by text, we may text youabout your own inquiry. That’s the only reason we would.
- We don’t send marketing or promotional texts, and we don’t run campaigns.
- We only message people who contacted us first and asked to be reached this way.
- We never buy, rent or import phone numbers from anybody.
- Message frequency depends entirely on the conversation you’re having with us.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- Reply STOP at any time and we’ll not text you again. Reply HELP for help, or call us on (269) 399-4867.
- Agreeing to be texted isn’t a condition of anything. We’ll happily call or email instead.
- Your phone number is never shared with anybody for marketing purposes.
What we never do
- We don’t sell or rent your information. Not to anyone, ever.
- We’re not a lead generator. We don’t pass inquiries to other dealers, auction houses or buyers and take a fee. If you contact us, you’re talking to the person who would buy your firearms.
- We don’t advertise what you have. Nothing you describe to us appears publicly, and nothing identifies you if we later sell a firearm we bought from you.
- We don’t add you to a mailing list or send newsletters.
Who else sees it
The people who need to in order to run the service, and no one else. Our website is hosted by Vercel, our application and database run on Railway, and our email runs through our own domain. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own terms; they aren’t permitted to use it for anything else, and we don’t hand them your information for any purpose beyond delivering the message to us.
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t follow you between sites and doesn’t receive anything you type into a form.
We may disclose information where the law requires it. That’s a legal obligation instead of a choice, and it’s the only circumstance in which your details leave this business.
Storage on your device
If you use the chat window, a token is stored in your browser so that reopening the page brings your conversation back. It contains no personal information and it is only readable by this site. Clearing your browser data removes it.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept while there’s a reasonable prospect of doing business, and records of actual purchases are kept for as long as federal firearms recordkeeping requires. If you would like us to delete an inquiry that didn’t lead anywhere, ask and we will.
Asking us to remove you
Call (269) 399-4867, text the same number, or email go@rakd.io and say so. There’s no form to fill in and no process to go through.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update this page. Last updated 1 September 2026.
