Buying in Niles and Berrien County

Berrien County holds 40 licensed dealers, and border-area estates often have out-of-state heirs.

Those 40 licenses span fifteen towns — the widest spread of any county in the south-west. The long-standing traffic between Niles, South Bend and Elkhart means collections here are unusually mixed in origin, and it’s common for a gun in a Michigan estate to have been bought in Indiana.
